What You’ll Do Build, test, and deploy modern frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Develop rich GUI components that allow users to visually create, edit, and preview document templates. Implement dynamic rendering logic for PDFs and document layouts based on user-defined templates and data. Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product stakeholders to turn complex requirements into intuitive interfaces. Use AI coding tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development and improve code quality. Write clean, scalable, and well-tested frontend code following best practices. Participate in architectural discussions around state management, component design, and performance optimisation. What We’re Looking For 1–2+ years of professional experience building React-based web applications. Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript. Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs or GraphQL. Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot. Strong attention to detail in design, usability, and user experience. Experience building complex, state-driven UIs (forms, editors, builders, dashboards, etc.). Comfortable working remotely, asynchronously, and in a fast-moving startup environment. Experience with frontend state management libraries (Zustand, Redux, Recoil, or similar). Knowledge of frontend testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library). Portfolio of 2–3 frontend projects (personal, freelance, or professional). Ability to communicate clearly in English (proficient or conversational level required for collaboration). Bonus Points If You Have Experience working on document editors, design tools, or no-code/low-code platforms. About the Role We’re looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer (2+ years of experience) who has expertise in AI engineering to join our early-stage fintech AI startup. In this role, you’ll work on cutting-edge conversational AI systems, LLM-powered automation, and intelligent agent workflows using Python, LangGraph, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks. This is a hands-on engineering position where you’ll architect, build, and optimise AI-driven pipelines and chatbot systems that directly shape the user experience. Build and deploy chatbots and conversational AI features for fintech use cases. Integrate APIs, LLM providers, vector databases, and orchestration tools. Work closely with founding team to design scalable solutions for AI-driven and finance-oriented features. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or AI Engineer. Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar agent orchestration systems. Proven experience building and deploying RAG pipelines and LLM-powered applications. Prior experience building chatbots or conversational agents (preferably production-grade). Solid understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, PgVector, Chroma, etc.). Strong expertise in Python, including FastAPI or similar backend frameworks. Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and API design. Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.). Proficient in Docker, Git, and modern deployment practices. Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced remote environments. Bonus Points If You Have Experience with asynchronous programming and Python performance optimization. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and serverless / microservices architecture. Prior experience in GenAI, fintech, or high-growth product environments.
