We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Field Sales Engineer to manage the complete sales cyclefrom lead generation to closing sales. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, prior experience in field sales (preferably in the Food Industry ), and the ability to build long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage the entire sales process , including lead generation, preparing quotations, and business development activities. Identify, research, and establish relationships with potential clients and key decision-makers. Generate new business through: Online networking Referrals Cold calling Direct online selling LinkedIn and other relevant digital channels Conduct regular customer visits (up to 75% travel ) to achieve sales targets and explore new business opportunities. Provide timely updates on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure accurate reporting. Preferred Experience & Skills 2-3 years of field sales experience; experience in the Food Industry is an added advantage . Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts. Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools for sales outreach. Location: Guindy, Chennai Educational Qualification: Diploma (with strong communication skills), OR Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred) Language Requirement: Tamil and English – Mandatory Hindi – Preferred Candidate Eligibility: Candidates from Tamil Nadu ONLY Profiles from other states will not be considered Travel Requirement: 75% travel for customer visits and business generation
