As a Specialist, Technical Professional Services (ETL Programming) at Fiserv, you will be responsible for designing large and complex Data Migration, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence Solutions under general supervision. Your role will involve analyzing conversion requirements, interpreting clients" existing systems, and taking complete ownership of the technical delivery of assigned conversion/implementation projects. Additionally, you will manage multiple clients, adhere to project timelines, and monitor project progress by tracking activities and resolving issues. You will be expected to assist management in planning and designing improvements to business processes, utilize your problem-solving skills to resolve moderately complex issues, and communicate progress and potential problems to the Project Manager. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining tools for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the conversion process, providing post-implementation support for 2 weeks, and working in US shift timings based on client requirements. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B. Tech/MCA/MSc (CS/IT) degree and have 3 to 10 years of experience in the IT industry. You must possess excellent programming skills in SQL/SSIS, a good understanding of ETL, and knowledge of activities performed in the conversion/implementation of core Banking applications. Additionally, experience supporting Banking Core Conversions and familiarity with Account Processing core systems would be advantageous. Ideal candidates will have exposure to the Banking and Financial Services industry, including a good understanding of Banking Products, Services & Procedures. Proficiency in Mainframe/COBOL/JCL, strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and proficiency with Excel are also desirable skills for this role.
