Specialist / Sr. Specialist, (MDG) Master Data Management

As an Expert in Master Data Management at Colgate-Palmolive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the SAP Master Data Governance Initiatives by collaborating with business teams, functional teams, and IT counterparts. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: - Understanding and applying Information Technology standards for daily support and project implementation activities. - Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve highly complex business processes and procedural problems. - Designing, building, and testing business applications and its architecture in alignment with agreed time frames, business requirements, and global standards. - Ensuring the reliability of production systems through the correct utilization of IT standards and governance processes. - Supporting day-to-day business requirements according to global SLA. - Proper use of information technology project management methodology aligned with governance practices. - Collaborating with business and functional teams to develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for project completion. - Reviewing program codes, suggesting corrections in case of errors, and conducting performance tuning to improve system performance. - Staying updated with the latest technological advancements, self-training, and researching to evaluate valuable contributions to the business. - Mentoring and coaching junior developer resources. Qualifications required for this role include: - Engineering Graduate with 5+ years of experience in Master Data Governance. - SAP MDG experience in Functional, Technical, Data models, Derivations/Validations, BRF+, ABAP, DDIC, Reporting, Dialog Programming, BAPIs/BADIs/Userexits, Basics of webdynpro and FPM, Basics of Workflow. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically, and to identify root causes. - Flexibility and adaptability to new technologies. Preferred qualifications: - Consulting or product management experiences. - Knowledge of UI5 & Odata, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP API, Python, Google Cloud Platform.
