Specialist Quality Analyst (Automation & Manual)

As a specialist in BABI QA at InxiteOut Pvt. Ltd., a company specializing in building next-generation AI-powered applications, your role involves ensuring the robustness, security, and alignment with user expectations of our AI systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Configuring and testing AI/ML products/systems. - Identifying and documenting quality issues through manual testing. - Conducting exploratory and black box testing for AI features. - Assisting in testing AI-specific scenarios such as prompt stability and hallucination edge cases. - Managing and reviewing the deliveries of an external team of manual QA. - Collaborating with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers in Agile teams. - Designing, developing, and executing test cases for functional and non-functional requirements. - Performing API, integration, acceptance, system, and end-to-end (E2E) testing. - Writing and maintaining basic automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar, preferably in Python. - Conducting regression, sanity, and smoke testing during CI/CD deployments. - Ensuring adequate test coverage for backend services and microservices. In addition, you must possess the following must-have skills: - Attention to details - Aptitude to learn and understand requirements even in the absence of clear documentation - Experience with Black-box, White-box, and Grey-box testing methods - Scripting knowledge in Python - Strong experience in Functional Testing, including API Testing, Integration Testing, Acceptance Testing, End-to-End Testing, Smoke and Sanity Testing, and System Testing - Good understanding of Non-Functional Testing, such as Load and Performance Testing, Stress Testing, and Security Testing basics - Knowledge of regression testing strategies and best practices Good-to-have skills with an AI testing focus include familiarity with testing AI/ML products/systems, CI/CD pipelines, hallucination and prompt variability in LLMs, RAG system testing, evaluating LLM outputs, and data labeling and validation practices. Qualifications required for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and an ISTQB certification or equivalent would be a plus.
