As a Specialist in this role, you will be responsible for developing IT solutions in adherence to policies, guidelines, and procedures of Global IS. Your primary focus will be on participating in global projects in the IS Tools area, contributing your knowledge to ensure successful project completion within the specified timeframe. You will design, debug, document, and test a variety of applications within the IS Tools area. Additionally, you will need to be available for Team Call Outs and provide Out of Office Hours support, including weekends and public holidays when required. Key Responsibilities: - Develop IT solutions in adherence to Global IS policies and procedures - Participate in global projects within the IS Tools area - Design, debug, document, and test applications - Handle adaptations of complex software within the IS Tools area - Provide Out of Office Hours support as needed Qualifications Required: - Degree or equivalent from a reputed institute - Preferred certification in HP applications - Formal training and/or certification in related technologies such as MCSD, .NET, Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Python, Power Automate, Power BI - Knowledge of processes like ITIL - 2-5 years of relevant IT experience with reputed companies - Technical knowledge in specific areas like HP PPM, HP SM, .NET, Java In this role, you will enjoy planning your workload, effectively working in teams, and being self-motivated with strong organizational skills. You must possess excellent communication skills to coordinate with other IS functions and peers across different locations and time zones. Your analytical skills and ability to think creatively will be crucial in solving problems and delivering high-quality solutions within your area of expertise. Additionally, you should have technical expertise in tools like Open Text SMAX, HP PPM, Power BI, and technologies such as Python, .NET, JavaScript, and PL/SQL. You will be great for this role if you have a proactive approach to learning, a strong technical background, and experience working in offshore teams. Your knowledge of IS strategy, trends, and developments in the information technology area will be beneficial in this position.
