Role Overview: As a Specialist in Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), your main responsibility will be deploying and configuring the CrowdStrike Falcon agent on endpoints within the organization's network. You will be in charge of setting up policies and rules to ensure optimal protection and performance. Your role will involve regularly updating the Falcon agent, performing maintenance checks, and managing security policies to prevent and detect threats. Additionally, you will integrate the EDR platform with other security tools, automate tasks for efficient threat response, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy the CrowdStrike Falcon agent on endpoints across the organization's network. - Configure policies and settings to ensure optimal protection and performance. - Regularly update the Falcon agent to ensure all endpoints are running the latest version. - Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure proper system functionality. - Create and manage security policies and rules within the EDR platform to prevent and detect threats. - Integrate the EDR platform with other security tools and systems for a cohesive security posture. - Automate tasks and responses to common threats to increase efficiency and reduce response times. - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. - Act as the point of contact for the EDR vendor, manage licenses, and stay informed about product updates and roadmaps. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for EDR system-related issues. - Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and CrowdStrike features. - Recommend security posture improvements based on insights gained from the EDR platform and industry best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or Engineering (ME/MTech). - 5 to 12 years of experience in deploying and managing EDR solutions. - Proficiency in EDR administration and experience with CrowdStrike is essential for this role.
