Specialist Buyer (Off Roll)

As a Specialist Buyer (Off Roll) based in Gurgaon, you will be responsible for leading and directing all activities within the purchasing process chain. This includes managing interfaces, cooperating with specialist departments, negotiating pricing and terms & conditions, and proactively supporting internal customers. You will play a key role in developing and implementing commodity-related procurement strategies through sourcing, partnering, and involving the business. Utilizing cost/price analysis, you will lead cost/price negotiations to ensure optimal outcomes. Your role will involve organizing and directing activities in alignment with existing local market and Company Group rules and regulations. By utilizing Company international Group contracts and purchasing tools, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the procurement process. You will issue frame contracts with vendors for items with repeated purchases, streamlining the procurement process for specialist departments. Leveraging the MG purchasing network, you will strive to achieve the best working results and manage contractual and commercial issues in collaboration with MG, finance, and specialist departments. Collaborating closely with specialist departments, you will define the specific requirements of commodities, including scope of work, potential suppliers, and timelines. You will solicit and evaluate bids and quotations from suppliers, lead negotiations, and prepare recommendations for management regarding order awards. Your role will also involve investigating and analyzing the local and international supplier market to ensure the selection of the "best source". Supplier development, continuous supplier quality, and performance improvement will be critical aspects that you will develop and coordinate. In this position, you will be responsible for utilizing appropriate reporting tools and methods, such as MG card and reports to MG departments. You will ensure compliant documentation according to Company Group guidelines, including organizing and filing RFQs, supplier documents, and bidder lists for all projects. Your educational qualification should include a B.E/B.Tech degree, while having 8-10 years of experience in roles related to Buyer, Indirect Buyer, and General Purchase.
