We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coding, Radiology Coder to join our team . The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in medical coding with a focus on radiology, ensuring accurate coding for diagnostic imaging services. Responsibilities Review and analyze medical records and documentation to ensure accurate coding for radiology services. Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures in accordance with coding guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any discrepancies in documentation and coding. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations, guidelines, and payer-specific requirements. Perform quality checks and audits on coded data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist in the training of new coding staff and provide support as needed. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in medical coding, specifically in radiology (1-3 years). Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to radiology. Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
