This position will manage day-to-day activities for key distributed labels, working alongside label clients to develop artists and promote content as the industry's leading independent music distributor and label services company. The candidate must have strong passion and knowledge of the music distribution scene and the independent cross-genre music market, an understanding of digital retail platforms, release requirements and opportunities, a creative spirit, and a solid technical capability. As on date this position will be hybrid – will be mix of WFH and label offices. What you'll do: Manage day to day relationships with distributed music Labels & Artists in such a manner that which will shape their journey with a growth path in sight and a vision to succeed. As a custodian of the labels assets to instill confidence in them, that it will be nurtured and taken care of in terms of the monetary realization and global visibility. Work to ensure all distributed partners in the market's needs are met and expand the focus on market development and growth. Manage assigned label's digital logistics and operations, ensuring digital content is delivered in a timely manner and to required specifications using Orchard technology systems make their way to market by way of coordinating with sales, manufacturing, and inventory management. Manage clients' priority release campaign logistics from inception through to analysis, working with other internal departments such as sales, marketing, operations, and data analytics as necessary. Whenever required to take corrective actions with the labels if there is any compliance issue with the prevalent best practices. Liaise with all internal departments (operations / finance / marketing / legal and management) to ensure client business needs are met, as the primary point of contact externally to the label and internally representing your labels' interests. Ensure the global sales and marketing organization has all assets to properly solicit and market priority releases. Liaise with local retail and represent the full Orchard's distributed content base and priority releases outside of assigned roster in support of The Orchards sales efforts. Lead in business reviews with priority labels with a comprehensive coverage over the performance of the label Drive product adoption of The Orchards tools and services across the client base. Who you are: 10 + years' experience within a label or distribution system working with labels or artists. Position is customer service and relationship focused, requiring excellent internal and external communication skills and professional diplomacy. Supreme attention to detail, multi-tasking, and follow-through skills required. Experience with digital music platforms and digital music best practices.
