Description
The Solutions Engineer, DSP at PubMatic plays a crucial role in driving the success of DSPs launches and platform integrations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the implementation of platform products is completed on-schedule and successfully for strategic DSPs launches. Your role includes leading the tracking of technical escalations after launch, which is essential for the growth of strategic partnerships with DSPs and the evolution of the product suite. Your responsibilities will involve partnering with the DSPs Development team to design and execute implementation plans for customers. You will collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to coordinate resources effectively. Additionally, you will support the Account Management teams in driving opportunities to optimize customer relationships. In this role, you will influence the Product roadmap functionality based on market-driven requirements, optimizations, and escalations. It is essential to work closely with customer-facing teams to identify business goals, opportunities, and clients" objectives to ensure the highest level of implementation of PubMatic products. You will actively respond to high-level escalations for Demand side clients regarding integration issues, discrepancies, and other technical matters. Furthermore, you will participate in on-site quarterly business reviews with clients to review technical issues and product support opportunities. Direct interaction and close collaboration with the Operations, product management, and core Engineering development teams are key aspects of the role. As a Solution Engineer, you will need to understand how engineering solves problems and apply that knowledge to address similar issues effectively in the future. Working closely with the account team to grow and optimize the DSP's portfolio is also part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have at least two years of experience in Python, SQL, Database tools, with moderate knowledge of web-based applications, Web server/Ad server/Mozilla Firefox, and different web-based browsers. Proactiveness, the ability to handle challenges and pressure positively, and confidence in working across diverse functions are essential qualities required for this position. We are looking for a take-charge individual who is resourceful in finding solutions, decisive in action, and capable of motivating teams to achieve goals. Demonstrated experience with Demand Side technologies, buyer workflows, RTB, and programmatic supply chain is preferred. A bachelor's degree in engineering (CS / IT) or equivalent from a reputable institute/university is also required.
