Solidworks Designer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD/CAM Engineer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks and SolidCAM to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and programming precision 3D components, ensuring the highest standardsof manufacturabilityy and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design complex 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.

• Generate accurate and optimized CNC toolpaths using SolidCAM.

• Collaborate with the manufacturing and production teams to ensure design feasibility and precision machining.

• Perform design iterations and revisions based on engineering requirements or protot feedback.

• Create technical drawings and documentation to support production.

• Conduct tolerance analysis and optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency a material usage.

• Troubleshoot and resolve design or manufacturing issues related to CAM processes.

• Maintain a strong understanding of material properties and machining processe for metals and plastics.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with SolidWorks and SolidCAM (minimum 4 years preferred).

• Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes.

• Experience in precision component design, particularly in industries such as precision screws, medical devices, or automotive.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

• Familiarity with CAM programming for multi-axis machining is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.

• Experience working in a machine shop environment or with CNC operators.

• Knowledge of other CAD/CAM software is a bonus.
