Role & responsibilities Design & Site Assessment: Lead the front-end, preliminary, and detailed design of EHV substations for renewable energy projects (Solar PV/Wind). • Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), layout plans, AC & DC SLDs, and detailed engineering documents for substations. • Conduct electrical calculations for earthing systems, lightning protection, illumination design, and other critical substation components. • Prepare RFPs for EHV substations (ISTS/Captive Renewable EPC Packages). • Conduct in-depth GIS/AIS substation design up to 400kV, including equipment sizing, layout design, and auxiliary system design. • Perform engineering calculations for battery sizing, CT & VT sizing, MV & LT cables, auxiliary transformer sizing, etc. • Review and finalize technical documentation such as Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical data sheets. • Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical queries and review equipment specifications. 2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all substation engineering designs comply with local, state, and CTU regulations and relevant codes. Work closely with regulatory authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals for substation construction by preparing and submitting relevant drawings. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration 4. Quality Assurance: Oversee quality assurance processes for EHV substation engineering deliverables, ensuring designs meet industry standards and safety regulations. • Conduct regular design reviews and audits to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with standards. 5. Project Oversight: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting for EHV substation engineering activities. • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to mitigate issues during the design and execution phases. Designing of Off-grid solar PV system for remote locations. Site Execution and Commissioning. Preparing 3D design of Site. Preparing Structure Drawing Using Auto CAD. Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of structure design Knowledge of Google Sketchup, Solar Lab, PV Syst. Knowledge of Auto-Cad is must.

Understanding of soil testing, compaction tests, and material testing. Ability to interpret topographical surveys and coordinate land development.
Role & responsibilities Supervise and execute electrical works including module mounting, DC cabling, AC cabling, inverter installation, earthing & lightning protection, and LT/HT electrical systems. Ensure installation as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project standards. Manage subcontractors and workforce to ensure productivity and quality. Monitor daily progress and ensure adherence to project schedule. 2. Quality Assurance & Compliance Conduct inspections for all electrical installation activities (DC, AC, HT, LT, SCADA). Verify materials received at site and ensure they meet quality specifications. Ensure compliance with IEC, IS standards, MNRE guidelines, and utility norms. Prepare and maintain installation checklists, inspection reports, and quality documentation. 3. Safety Management Implement and enforce electrical safety procedures at site. Ensure use of PPE and safe working practices during installation and testing. Coordinate safety toolbox talks and training for site teams. 4. Testing & Commissioning Assist in testing of PV modules, strings, inverters, transformers, HT panels, and SCADA systems. Support pre-commissioning & commissioning activities with OEMs and utility authorities. Resolve site-level technical issues during testing and commissioning. 5. Coordination & Documentation Coordinate with design teams to resolve technical queries (TQs). Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and SCADA teams for smooth execution. Maintain daily site reports, DPRs, work permits, material tracking, and as-built documentation. Attend meetings with clients, EPC partners, and consultants.
