Now, we’re expanding our remote design team and looking for passionate, skilled professionals. What You’ll Be Doing As a Solar PV system designer, you will be responsible for: Creating Solar PV system designs using tools like EASY PV, AutoCAD, or other industry-standard software. Configuring optimal system layouts for different property types (residential and commercial) based on available roof space, orientation, and energy requirements. Liaising directly with on-site surveyors and engineers via video calls, chats, or shared project platforms to gather essential site information (roof pitch, obstructions, electrical details, etc.). Ensuring compliance with UK solar installation standards and preparing technical design packs for internal approval and customer presentation. Working with internal UK teams to ensure designs align with project timelines and client expectations. Required Skills & Experience 3+ years experience in solar PV design and system configuration Proficient in EASY PV, AutoCAD, or similar design platforms Knowledge of PV system components (inverters, panels, batteries, mounting systems) Ability to read and interpret roof plans and electrical layouts Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal Able to coordinate with UK-based teams (primarily during UK working hours or overlapping hours) Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Experience in preparing design documentation for EPVS or MCS compliance is a plus What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Full-time remote position with long-term growth opportunities Flexible working hours (with some overlap with UK timezone) Work with a fast-growing, trusted UK brand in the solar energy sector Collaborative, supportive international team environment
