Job Description

You will be working on a low-latency trading middleware for Solana, focusing on a high-performance transaction broadcasting engine used by top trading firms and validators. The current system handles 2M+ transactions per day, but only 0.01% of these transactions are successful, presenting a challenge that you will be tasked with solving. Your main mission will be to understand and optimize the transaction pipeline. You will investigate why transactions fail or are slow to process, identify patterns that contribute to success or failure based on geographies or clients, and explore ways to enhance the speed of our infrastructure down to the microsecond level. You will be working with various technologies including ClickHouse for raw request logs, Postgres for transaction outcomes and metadata, Grafana and server logs for validator and router performance, and our geo-distributed validator and router stack. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and enhancing user flow landing rates, optimizing performance across endpoints, network paths, and validators, reducing infrastructure costs by improving orchestration and utilization, reverse-engineering competitors and creating benchmarks, and suggesting innovative strategies to monetize traffic, bundles, and client insights.,
