Software / Web Tester

As a Web Tester / Quality Assurance Tester / Software Tester / QA Tester / Website Tester / Test Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the software quality of our customer-facing websites. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying test scenarios for web site solutions developed by the team. - Writing comprehensive test plans and conducting functional, standards, and cross-browser compliance testing. - Identifying and meticulously documenting all system errors. - Managing a repository of system test plans. - Ensuring that all work aligns with customer expectations and departmental quality standards. - Keeping up-to-date with software testing tools, standards, and processes. - Developing a holistic understanding of Ontrack core website systems from a non-testing perspective. - Taking ownership of and updating user documentation for Ontrack core website systems. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Hands-on experience in testing web applications. - Ability to create test cases based on functional requirements. - Proficiency in cross-browser/environment testing. - Familiarity with tools and processes specific to web software testing. - Knowledge of web standards, technologies, and accessibility compliance. - Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Keen attention to detail with excellent planning, organization, and time management abilities. - Eagerness for continuous learning and skill development. - Professional, positive, and results-oriented mindset.
