Software Tester

You will be responsible for the following tasks: - Develop detailed test cases based on software requirements and specifications. - Manually execute test cases to identify defects and ensure software functionality. - Identify, document, and report defects using established defect tracking systems. - Conduct regular regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not impact existing functionality. - Perform exploratory testing to uncover defects that scripted tests might miss. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans and test results. - Create or manipulate test data to simulate various scenarios and use cases. - Verify and validate that reported defects have been resolved before closing them. - Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to ensure quality. - Stay updated on testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices. You should possess the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 1+ years of experience in software testing (manual & automation). - Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Strong knowledge of test methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. - Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. - Good understanding of databases and SQL queries for data validation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and documentation skills.,
