Software Tester

Role & responsibilities

• Review software requirements and design test plans.
  
• Execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, or desktop applications.
  
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Mantis.
  
• Collaborate with developers and project teams to resolve issues and ensure software quality.
  
• Perform regression, integration, system, and performance testing as needed.
  
• Prepare test reports and document test results.
  
• Ensure that delivered software meets business and technical requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of

  software testing concepts

  and

  SDLC/STLC

  .
• Experience with

  manual testing

  and exposure to

  automation testing

  tools (like Selenium, TestNG, etc.).
• Understanding of different types of testing:

  functional, regression, usability, smoke, and performance testing

  .
• Familiarity with

  bug tracking tools

  such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
• Basic understanding of

  databases

  and ability to write SQL queries.
• Knowledge of

  API testing

  tools like Postman (preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
