As a Test Engineer at Arista Networks, you will work on enterprise and cloud-managed WiFi products. Your role will involve testing and validating complex cloud infrastructure and services that power WiFi networks, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for cloud-based WiFi solutions, contributing to the delivery of industry-leading products. Responsibilities: - Lead testing efforts on the cloud infrastructure supporting WiFi networks to ensure scalability, performance, and resilience in various environments. - Design and execute performance, scalability, and load tests to ensure reliable WiFi services under different conditions. - Collaborate with engineering teams to conduct integration tests for cloud-based services interfacing with hardware. - Create detailed test plans, test cases, and reports for all stages of the development lifecycle, ensuring traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects. - Track defects and issues using management systems and work closely with stakeholders to ensure high-quality product delivery. - Mentor junior team members and share best practices in testing and cloud-based WiFi solution validation. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in E&TC/EE/CE/CS/IT or related field; Master's degree is a plus. - 10-15 years of experience in testing & troubleshooting Cloud technologies, virtualization, Microservices, and debugging complex software. - Experience with Hadoop, Big data technologies, Database (SQL), performance testing methods, and distributed systems fundamentals. - Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking tools, and OSI stack fundamentals. - Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and expertise in creating test methodologies. - Familiarity with scripting languages like Python is beneficial. - Adaptive to learning new technologies and methodologies.
