Software Test Engineer - Automation (Selenium/Cypress and Java/Python/C/Javascript)

The role of Software Test Engineer - Automation at our company requires a QA Engineer with a strong background in test automation, specifically with expertise in Selenium/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript. As a member of our dynamic team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, write efficient test scripts, perform automation and manual testing, execute automated tests, and resolve any arising issues to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your core responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable automated test scripts using Selenium/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript, working closely with software development teams to develop automation strategies, analyzing software applications for automation opportunities, executing automated tests to validate software functionality, troubleshooting test failures, implementing CI/CD pipelines, staying updated with industry trends, prioritizing test cases for automation, maintaining test data and environments, monitoring and reporting test results, and contributing to testing processes improvement. To qualify for this position, you should have 2 to 6 years of experience as an Automation Engineer, proficiency in Selenium WebDriver/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript programming, knowledge of software testing methodologies and automation frameworks, familiarity with version control and issue tracking systems, experience with CI/CD processes, strong problem-solving and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively and independently, organizational and time management skills, a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies, and a relevant academic background in Computer Science or related fields. Additionally, preferred qualifications include experience with other test automation frameworks and tools, knowledge of web technologies and Agile/Scrum methodologies, familiarity with database systems and SQL, and certifications related to software testing and test automation.
