The Product Security team at Motorola Solutions is dedicated to defending against cyber threats and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their products. As a Vulnerability Management Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing tools that integrate data from various sources to enhance the vulnerability management platform. By providing actionable insights to product development teams, you contribute to the ongoing protection of data and systems from potential threats. In this role, you will collaborate with a geographically dispersed team and bring order to diverse data sources. Your responsibilities will include implementing, documenting, and maintaining software solutions to extract, calculate, and store data, developing user-friendly web applications, and driving ongoing process improvements through automation and accuracy. You will work with multiple data sources, identify and remediate data quality issues, and reshape data primarily in JSON format. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, and experience with API technologies. Knowledge of common application vulnerabilities, CI/CD workflows, cloud services deployment, and secure coding principles is essential. Additionally, skills in code analysis tools, automation, data organization, and interest in emerging technologies are highly valued. A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, along with 3-5 years in software development, is required for this position.
