Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Software Principal Engineer on our Software Engineering Team in Bangalore What you ll achieve As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. You will: Provides solutions for a range of complex problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions, under limited direction. Authors and executes test cases and testing methodology for manual and/or automated tests. Understands and adheres to cost/delivery/quality targets established during regression and testing phase. Strong conceptual ideas and experience in quality software engineering is needed. Strong ability to apply testing techniques on the testing project. Here s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 8+ years of experience with solid working knowledge in storage area/system side: File Systems, NFS. Strong ability to work in Linux OS environments (RHEL, SuSe, Fedora etc.) Ability to conduct manual testing independently on storage products and applications. Ability to create test plans, strategies and executing them. Ability to code in Python, debug problems independently. Desirable Requirements End-to-end working knowledge of any backup/storage application, Cloud Computing - AWS/Azure/GCP, Linux system internals, UNIX system API. Understanding of Jira and Confluence applications. Good understanding of Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes application
