What you ll achieve As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. You will: Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments Prepare written software/storage specifications for sophisticated products from architectural diagrams and documents Build and review design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed Develop, review and implement test strategies for software products and systems Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 5+ years of experience with solid working knowledge in storage area/system side: File Systems, NFS. Strong ability to work in Linux OS environments (RHEL, SuSe, Fedora etc.) Ability to conduct manual testing on storage products and applications. Ability to create test plans, strategies and executing them. Ability to code in Python debug problems independently. Desirable Requirements End-to-end working knowledge of any backup/storage application. Exposure to the Cloud Computing - AWS/Azure/GCP, Linux system internals, UNIX system API. Understanding of Jira and Confluence applications, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes applications.
