Franchise Data Engineering, a vital part of the Data Engineering group at Goldman Sachs, focuses on providing a robust platform, streamlined processes, and effective governance to ensure the availability of clean, organized, and impactful data. As a Full-stack Software Engineer on the Franchise Data Engineering team, your primary responsibility will involve enhancing the platform, systems, and applications used for processing Gross Credits (GCs) a key internal metric utilized across various businesses in the public side of Global Banking & Markets (GBM). Working closely with Sales and Trading management, you will be instrumental in building data pipelines and curating data specifically tailored for this segment of institutional clients, including Asset Managers, Corporates, Sovereigns, Pensions, Endowments, and Insurance companies. The team supports over 2,000 Salespeople managing more than 12,000 Clients worldwide, ensuring their evolving data needs are promptly met through innovative software solutions. Goldman Sachs is seeking Engineers who are passionate about innovation and problem-solving, with expertise in risk management, big data, mobile technology, and beyond.
