Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable software solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate user requirements into technical designs, implement high-quality code, and support production systems. You will contribute to system reliability, performance, and operational excellence while continuously developing your technical skills and staying current with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine user and business requirements for new features and services.
  
• Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions for products, services, or features, reusing existing components where appropriate.
  
• Contribute to technical design documents and architectural decisions for assigned product areas with minimal oversight.
  
• Break down large, complex work items into smaller, actionable tasks and provide accurate effort estimates.
  
• Participate in on-call rotations as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor systems and respond to incidents such as degradation, downtime, or service interruptions.
  
• Diagnose and resolve simple production issues and coordinate approvals for system or service restoration when required.
  
• Continuously improve system availability, reliability, performance, observability, and operational efficiency.
  
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to drive consistency and scalability in monitoring and operations.
  

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline

  OR

  equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience coding in one or more programming languages, such as:
  
• C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  
• Ability to meet organizational and customer security and compliance requirements, including background and security screenings as applicable.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with

  1+ years

  of professional software engineering experience,

  OR

• Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with relevant coding experience,

  OR

• Equivalent industry experience.
  

• 1+ years

  of experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems.

• 1+ years

  of experience in cloud-based backend development and operations, with a focus on performance, reliability, resilience, and scalability.
