What you'll do: As a software engineer in the seller systems team, you will design and build configurable and scalable platforms and system solutions globally. You'll collaborate with various functions at Stripe, working on financial platform systems and making direct seller-facing business impacts. Your responsibilities will include building services, APIs, and systems to empower sales teams, creating seamless experiences for merchants, utilizing data to improve processes, collaborating with engineers across the company, and maintaining a collaborative environment with stakeholders. Who you are: We are looking for a backend software engineer with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in delivering, extending, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems. You should have expertise in Java and Ruby, design and build integration pipelines and API services, enjoy exploring new datasets, possess exceptional product taste, work effectively with production systems, and have the skills to build holistically from specs to implementation. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with large-scale distributed systems, experience in high-growth teams, knowledge of CRM platforms like Salesforce, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
