As a Software Engineer - Vision at Motive, you will join a dynamic team committed to bringing intelligence to the world of trucks. Your primary responsibility will involve developing technology to analyze driving behavior, identify potential risks, and suggest actionable events to enhance fleet safety and save costs, ultimately contributing to road safety. Working alongside accomplished researchers and engineers specializing in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Robotics, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on innovative projects with a proven track record of success. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of sophisticated computer vision systems. You will be tasked with enhancing existing models, conducting research to create new AI models, optimizing CV/ML algorithms for real-time performance on embedded platforms, writing Python and C++ code for algorithm development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of robust AI systems. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a Master's degree being advantageous. A minimum of 4 years of experience in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning is required, along with a solid foundation in relevant mathematical principles. Proficiency in Python, C++, and training frameworks such as TensorFlow, Pytorch, or Caffe is essential. Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and other related tools is a plus.
