Software Engineer IV (.NET)

As a software engineer at PDI Technologies, you will have the opportunity to work on designing and building market-leading software products. You will play a crucial role in contributing to the continuous improvement of PDI's enterprise software solutions. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various teams, designing and implementing backend services, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring the scalability and responsiveness of backend systems. Key Responsibilities: - Be accountable for design decisions and lead medium to large-sized projects. - Guide, train, and lead less experienced engineers. - Collaborate with Architecture and DevOps teams to evaluate tools, processes, and technologies. - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and enterprise applications using the .NET framework and .NET Core. - Implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems. - Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality. - Identify and address performance bottlenecks for scalability and responsiveness. - Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for efficient data retrieval. - Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Perform testing to ensure systems meet user requirements and troubleshoot software issues. - Work in an Agile environment to analyze technical challenges and find optimal solutions. - Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop product test plans and resolve issues. - Work with Product Owner to clarify and estimate feature work. Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. - Proficient in .Net Framework, .Net/.NET Core, C#, SQL, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, REST. - Strong understanding of REST architecture and SQL Server development. - Knowledge of C# development areas including multi-threading, memory management, async programming. - Experience with C++ is strongly preferred. - Strong skills in building resilient, scalable, and secure software. - Experience in developing enterprise applications, cloud-native applications, and API development using .NET and .NET Core. - Practical experience with Agile development methodologies and public cloud native applications. - Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
