Software Engineer in Test - Hybrid

Role Overview: You are being sought after to join Boss Professionals Ltd as a Software Engineer in Test, specifically focusing on Python and distributed systems test frameworks. Your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain the automation framework and tests for cutting-edge AV systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain the automated test framework. - Work closely with different teams to comprehend business requirements and convert them into technical solutions. - Enhance systems for performance, reliability, and scalability. - Provide guidance to junior engineers, promoting an environment of innovation and continual learning. - Perform code reviews, produce comprehensive documentation, and offer constructive feedback to enhance code quality. - Investigate and resolve intricate technical issues pertaining to the system. - Support Company objectives by fulfilling additional tasks as required. Qualifications: - 2-5 years of experience in Test Automation. - Proficiency in Python and object-oriented design with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. - Hands-on experience in creating automated system tests, especially for software applications controlling networked hardware devices across diverse platforms. - Familiarity with automated desktop/web GUI testing tools (such as Test Complete, Selenium, or similar). - Experience in automated API testing for web and hardware devices. - Working knowledge of both Windows OS and macOS, with the capability to execute command line operations on both. - Strong communication and documentation skills in English. Preferred Qualifications: - Understanding of ethernet-based computer networking. - Basic comprehension of electronics and audio/video connections.
