Software Engineer III - ( React.js, Ruby on Rails )

As a Software Engineer III at our company, you will utilize your 5+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails, spanning multiple major versions, to contribute to our development projects. You will also leverage your familiarity with frontend libraries, particularly React, to collaborate with our frontend team on full stack features. Your responsibilities will include migrating older Rails projects to the latest version, connecting endpoints to other web services, and monitoring and enhancing the performance of existing Rails servers. Additionally, you will work on full stack features in collaboration with the frontend team and utilize a CI/CD system with Jenkins deployed using Spinnaker. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience. Your experience should include working with Ruby on Rails, familiarity with frontend libraries like React, and knowledge of devOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines. Experience in maintaining legacy systems, addressing security concerns, and eliminating technical debt is essential.
