As a Software Engineer II - Commodity Senior Engineer at TekWissen, you will be part of the Vehicle Software Systems Engineering (VSSE) team, where you will play a crucial role in developing software solutions for Power Supply Systems. You will work in a hybrid setting in Chennai, embracing Lean, Agile, Pair Programming, and Extreme Programming (XP) practices to deliver innovative software products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements, advocating for user-centric software solutions - Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies - Assess requirements of the software application and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc. - Create high-level software architecture designs outlining the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application - Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product owners, designers, and architects - Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies, and processes in line with organization vision and industry best practices - Continuously improve performance, optimize the application, and implement new technologies for development efficiency - Support security practices to safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymization - Develop user-friendly and interactive interfaces - Maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages - Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver solutions **Skills Required:** - Angular - Full Stack Java Developer - Spring Boot - PostgreSQL - CI/CD **Skills Preferred:** - System Administration **Experience Required:** - Senior Engineer with 10+ years in IT - 8+ years of professional experience in web-based applications - Experience in Angular (preferred), Typescript, React - Experience in developing Flask/Python applications, utilizing SQL and cloud technologies - At least 5 years of experience in Agile practices **Experience Preferred:** - System administration experience with Windows and Linux operating system - Support COTS application(s) with back-end server infrastructure **Education Required:** - Bachelor's Degree **Education Preferred:** - Master's Degree Please note that TekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.,
