Software Development Engineer in Test

Role Overview: You will be joining as an SDET Engineer on the technology team, reporting to the Tech Lead. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to design testing procedures for software applications, analyze their functionality, and create automated tests to validate their performance. Your technical expertise in microservice architecture will be crucial in running a diverse development pod. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with front-end and back-end developers to deliver end-to-end tests - Conduct database and API testing - Perform both automated and manual testing as needed for the project - Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle - Write and implement test cases within the test framework - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including discussing and writing stories and tests for upcoming sprints - Develop and execute Cross Browser and Cross-platform testing automation - Collaborate with the business to understand requirements and work closely with developers and quality assurance teams to deliver a stable platform - Design CI/CD pipelines and oversee DevOps activities - Hands-on debugging of critical issues Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Science, or similar field - Hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance activities with proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python - At least 2 years of experience in Web Automation and Backend Testing - 2+ years of experience working with Agile methodology and related testing and test automation techniques - Proficiency in developing automated test scripts using tools & frameworks like Selenium, WebDriver, Cucumber, TestNG, etc - Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle - Experience with keyword and data-driven test automation frameworks - Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues by working closely with developers, test engineers, and support staff - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Hands-on experience in performing gray box testing with automation testing tools - Basic knowledge of Linux systems for troubleshooting backend issues - Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and resolve technical or tools-related issues If you are looking to be part of a community that values accountability, continuous improvement, and mutual growth, apply today to be our customer's partner on the inside and contribute to creating innovative solutions that drive our mission forward.,
