About the job: As our social media leader, you'll be the creative force behind how the world sees and shares our stories. You'll build a trusted, joyful presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, turning everyday moments into viral story hooks, bringing our characters to life, and helping parents discover the magic of Giant. You'll drive daily engagement and new user acquisition through content that feels native, delightful, and distinctly 'Giant.' Whether it's launching a new character, spotlighting a user-generated moment, or experimenting with a TikTok trend, you'll be the connector between our brand and the parents who love us. Key responsibilities: 1. Social Media Strategy & Execution Own and evolve Giant's social content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. Develop platform-native content that drives engagement, saves, shares, and downloads especially short-form video. Identify and ride trends early, adapting formats and hooks to match parent interests and kid delight. Collaborate cross-functionally to promote new stories, characters, features, and community moments. 2. Performance & Insights Monitor KPIs weekly (e.g., engagement rate, follower growth, app click-throughs). Run tests across post types, captions, and formats to boost organic reach. Share clear reports with performance learnings and next steps no vanity metrics. 3. Influencer & Creator Collaboration Build and manage a pipeline of micro-influencers, parenting creators, and family-focused channels. Support creator briefs, content reviews, and campaign tracking to ensure high-quality brand alignment. Provide influencers with content toolkits and creative prompts that feel authentic, not scripted. 4. Community Engagement & Conversion Respond to DMs and comments in Giant's voice warm, funny, always human. Use tools like ManyChat to build simple, engaging DM sequences for driving downloads or follow-ups. Identify and tag warm leads for deeper engagement across email and push notifications. 5. Brand Development Uphold Giant's visual and tonal consistency across every post, reel, and comment. Evolve our style guide with new content formats, emojis, story templates, and aesthetic cues. Help design seasonal campaigns and tentpole moments (Back-to-School, Holiday, Summer Reading, etc.) Qualifications: 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong eye for memes, tone, and storytelling. 2. Demonstrated success growing a social account on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube (personal or brand). 3. Experience in social media, content marketing, or digital community roles, ideally for a consumer product or kids/family brand. 4. Video-first mindset with comfort using tools like CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Express. 5. Experience managing influencer collaborations or creator outreach (even at small scale). 6. Data fluency, you know how to interpret insights and make decisions fast. Bonus: Experience with ManyChat or other chat automation tools, or with parenting/family-focused communities. Share past experience - be it your own account or otherwise where you have grown social channels, eg., YouTube, Instagram.
