Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Social Media Lead Generation Executive who can identify business owners with genuine needs for digital marketing services, start meaningful conversations, and convert opportunities into qualified leads.

The role focuses on direct outreach, requirement hunting, online communities, and social selling—not routine posting or content management. Success will be measured by the quality of conversations and qualified leads generated, rather than the number of messages sent.

What You’ll Do

1. Direct Outreach

• Identify business owners, founders, and decision-makers who match our target customer profile.
• Send personalised LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook messages to relevant prospects.
• Engage with prospects’ posts before reaching out to build familiarity and context.
• Prepare short, personalised audits highlighting opportunities to improve a prospect’s website, social media presence, or advertising performance.
• Start genuine conversations, understand business needs, and nurture potential clients without using spammy messaging.

2. Requirement Hunting & Opportunity Identification

• Search LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, X, Reddit, and other relevant communities for people actively looking for digital marketing services.
• Identify posts such as “looking for a digital marketing agency,” “need help with Google Ads,” or “looking for an SEO expert.”
• Set up saved searches, keyword alerts, and social listening tools to identify new requirements quickly.
• Identify businesses hiring for marketing roles and explore whether outsourced agency support could meet their needs.
• Find business owners dissatisfied with their current marketing agency or campaign results and offer relevant solutions.
• Monitor new business launches, store openings, funding announcements, and rebrands to identify timely sales opportunities.

3. Community Engagement & Inbound Lead Generation

• Answer relevant marketing questions in Facebook Groups, LinkedIn Groups, Reddit, and Quora with useful, non-sales-oriented advice.
• Participate in local business-owner and industry-specific communities to build trust and professional relationships.
• Share short marketing tips, case studies, campaign results, and practical insights on LinkedIn to attract inbound enquiries.
• Identify conversations that indicate genuine buying intent and move them towards a business discussion.

4. Referral Partnerships

• Identify web developers, designers, consultants, and other service providers who work with similar business clients.
• Build referral relationships with complementary service providers through social media and online communities.
• Maintain relationships with referral partners and follow up on potential business opportunities.

5. Lead Qualification, Follow-Up & Reporting

• Understand prospects’ business requirements, challenges, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify qualified opportunities and pass relevant leads to the sales team.
• Record prospect details, conversations, follow-ups, and lead status in the CRM or tracking sheet.
• Follow up consistently without being intrusive.
• Track weekly performance by platform, outreach method, qualified conversations, and leads generated.
• Identify which platforms and approaches produce the best-quality opportunities and improve the process accordingly.

Experience
