Social Media Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, and scheduling social media content calendars across various platforms.
• Create engaging and platform-specific content, including static posts, carousels, short-form videos, stories, reels, and captions.
• Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments and messages to encourage audience engagement and build relationships.
• Research trending topics, hashtags, industry updates, and competitor activities to identify content opportunities.
• Support the ideation and execution of social media campaigns for festivals, special events, product launches, and brand promotions.
• Track social media performance using analytics tools and generate actionable insights to improve engagement and reach.
• Collaborate with designers, content writers, and video editors to ensure timely creation and publishing of content.
• Assist in community-building initiatives, audience engagement, and social listening activities.
• Maintain social media performance records and prepare monthly reports highlighting key metrics, growth, and achievements.

Skills & Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Strong interest in social media trends, digital brands, content creation, and creative storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a good command of language.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter (X).
• Basic knowledge of content creation and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar applications.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content ideas.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

• Prior experience managing personal or brand social media accounts.
• Understanding of short-form video content, particularly Instagram Reels, and content optimization.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics, performance tracking, and reporting.
• Awareness of emerging digital trends, online communities, and audience behaviour.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
