You will be developing smart, humorous, lifestyle-based content ideas for various platforms like Reels, Shorts, and YouTube. Your role will involve writing sharp, culturally-relevant scripts that are rooted in everyday life, trends, and observations. It is essential to combine storytelling, satire, and social insight to create entertaining and relatable content. Collaboration with the in-house team of directors, editors, and creators will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will need to stay updated on the latest pop culture, internet trends, and contemporary lifestyles. As the ideal candidate, you are a strong comedy or content writer with a background in lifestyle, culture, or digital-first brands. Your curiosity, awareness, and insightful nature make you an avid reader and observer of the world. Understanding the tone and preferences of Gen Z and millennial audiences is crucial for this role. You should be comfortable writing across various formats like dialogue, monologue, sketches, and scripts. Being organized, self-driven, and collaborative are traits that will contribute to your success in this position. Having experience in writing for creators, YouTube, Reels, or social-first formats will be a bonus. Additionally, if you have previously worked with lifestyle/e-commerce brands or influencer-driven platforms, it will be advantageous. A keen awareness of cultural conversations, including what's funny, what's real, and what's next, will further enhance your suitability for this role. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai (Andheri East), and immediate joiners are preferred.,
