SOC Detection Lead

Role Overview: As a SOC Detection Lead at Airbus India Private Limited, you will be a part of the Digital function responsible for enhancing Airbus information management capabilities and accelerating the digitalization journey. Your role involves leading a team of detection engineers, guiding them with research, suggesting security detection scenarios, proposing automations to enhance SOC detection and response capabilities, and developing strategies for threat detection, investigation, and response. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the overall performance and success of the Security Operations Centre. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of detection engineers, guide them with research, and suggest security detection scenarios - Propose automations to enhance SOC detection and response capabilities - Develop a roadmap and strategies for threat detection, investigation, and response - Produce management information, reports, and KPIs - Create and enhance internal processes and procedures Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Masters in Information Security preferred - 6 to 10+ years of relevant experience as a Detection and Automation Engineer or SOC L2/L3 Analyst - Information Security and/or Information Technology industry certification preferred (e.g., CASP+, SANS-GIAC, OSCP, CISSP) - Experience in building detection and investigating threat scenarios for various platforms - Knowledge of automation and scripting using Python and JavaScript - Experience in network and web technology, encryption, cloud computing, firewalls, etc. - Knowledge of Splunk Enterprise Security - Familiarity with SOC referentials such as Sigma, STIX/TAXII, MITRE ATT&CK - Proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work effectively as a team player - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an advantage of French language knowledge Additional Details: Airbus India Private Limited is committed to equal opportunities for all employees.
