Role Overview: As a Snowflake Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions using Snowflake. You will perform data analysis and feature engineering on large datasets stored in Snowflake. Collaboration with data engineers to ensure efficient data pipelines and optimized queries will be crucial. Additionally, you will design and implement data models and transformations for analytics and reporting, leveraging Snowflake's capabilities for scalable ML workflows. Communicating insights and recommendations to business stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner will also be a key aspect of your role. You will ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the analytics lifecycle while staying updated on Snowflake features and emerging data science technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deploy machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions using Snowflake. - Perform data analysis and feature engineering on large datasets stored in Snowflake. - Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data pipelines and optimized queries. - Design and implement data models and transformations for analytics and reporting. - Leverage Snowflake's capabilities (Snowpark, UDFs, stored procedures) for scalable ML workflows. - Communicate insights and recommendations to business stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner. - Ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the analytics lifecycle. - Stay updated on Snowflake features and emerging data science technologies. Qualification Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. - 6+ years of experience in data science, with strong exposure to Snowflake. - Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). - Experience with Snowflake architecture, Snowpark, and performance optimization. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Additional Details: The company prefers candidates with knowledge of data governance and compliance standards, experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt).
