This role combines cloud operations, system administration, and security management to ensure our environments remain stable, cost-efficient, and compliant. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, deploy, and maintain AWS and Azure infrastructure. Manage Windows and Linux systems, IIS deployments, and MS SQL databases. Configure and monitor firewalls, VPNs, and SSL/TLS. Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, New Relic, Nagios). Conduct security audits, vulnerability scans, and apply remediations. · Manage IAM, Azure AD, and access controls across environments. Handle system backups, disaster recovery, and incident response. Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 36 years in cloud or system administration roles. Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM) and Azure (VMs, App Services, SQL, Blob Storage, Azure AD). Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers). Hands-on experience with IIS, MS SQL, and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python). Understanding of security practices, backups, and compliance requirements. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Sophos UTM, Jira, New Relic, or Nagios. Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
