Smart Edit Developer SAP Hybris / Commerce Front End

As a Smart Edit Developer specializing in SAP Hybris/Commerce Front End, you will leverage your 4 to 6 years of experience to develop and customize front-end components using SAP Commerce (Hybris) SmartEdit. Your key responsibilities will include building responsive, user-centric UIs that align with business and branding requirements, collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and back-end developers, and optimizing application performance for maximum speed and scalability. You will also troubleshoot and debug front-end issues to ensure a smooth user experience, participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards, and integrate SAP Commerce Cloud solutions with third-party systems and APIs when necessary. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation. Your technical skills will be put to use as you demonstrate strong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) SmartEdit, proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, or other modern JavaScript frameworks, a good understanding of responsive and adaptive design, knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration methods, experience working with version control systems like Git, and familiarity with build tools and CI/CD pipelines. In addition to your technical expertise, you will need strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills are essential as you collaborate with team members. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required for this role.
