Role Overview As a Sales Associate at SkillsMarathon, you will engage with prospective learners, understand their career goals, and help them choose the most suitable skill-based programs. Your role is consultative, learner-focused, and outcome-driven rather than aggressive selling. Key Responsibilities • Connect with inbound leads generated through website, campaigns, and inquiries. • Understand learner goals, background, and skill gaps. • Counsel prospects on suitable programs, learning paths, and outcomes. • Explain course structure, pricing, timelines, and certification value. • Follow up with prospects and manage the sales pipeline effectively. • Coordinate with marketing and program teams to improve conversions. • Maintain accurate lead and interaction records. Who We’re Looking For • Strong communication and counselling skills. • Experience or interest in EdTech, training, or skill-development sales. • Ability to explain career outcomes, not just course features. • A learner-first, consultative sales mindset. • Comfortable with follow-ups, objections, and closing conversations. • Prior experience in EdTech or course sales is preferred but not mandatory.
