Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Ensure quality of work, workmanship, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site staff for smooth execution of work.
• Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings and resolve site-level execution issues.
• Monitor daily progress, manpower deployment, and material consumption at the site.
• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), site records, measurement sheets, and quality inspection reports.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure proper utilization of materials, minimize wastage, and achieve daily and weekly targets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Relevant experience in civil construction, building projects, and site execution.
• Good knowledge of structural and architectural drawings, construction methods, and quality control.
• Ability to manage site manpower, subcontractors, and day-to-day construction activities.
• Familiarity with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and site reporting.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Freshers with good technical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also apply.
