JD OF PRODUCTION PLANNING Department: Production / Planning Location: Silvassa Reporting to: Plant Head / Director Job Purpose: To ensure efficient planning and coordination of FIBC production activities, raw material procurement, and order scheduling to meet customer delivery timelines, optimize resource utilization, and reduce production downtime. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Scheduling: Prepare and manage monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on sales forecasts and order confirmations. Coordinate with sales, purchase, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of finished goods. Monitor work-in-progress and update plans as needed for delays or urgent requirements. Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Plan raw material and packing material requirements. Ensure timely availability of input materials like PP/HDPE granules, liners, threads, loops, belts, etc. Coordinate with the procurement team to manage inventory levels. Capacity & Resource Management: Analyze machine and labour capacity to align with production targets. Optimize plant and machine utilization (Tape Plant, Looms, Printing, Liner, Assembly, etc.) Coordination & Communication: Liaise with the production, maintenance, QA/QC, and dispatch teams for smooth operations. Communicate plan changes and urgent requirements effectively. Monitoring & Reporting: Track daily production output against the plan. Analyze variances and take corrective action. Prepare MIS reports for management review. Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements. Work on reducing lead times and improving on-time delivery performance. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of FIBC manufacturing processes (tape extrusion, weaving, cutting, printing, stitching, etc.) Hands-on experience with ERP systems ( Tally, or other industry-specific tools) Analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and team coordination abilities Ability to handle pressure and multiple priorities Educational Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering /Operations / Production Management Preferred: Certification in Production Planning or Supply Chain Management Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in planning, preferably in FIBC or woven sack manufacturing industry
Department : Marketing Reporting To : Export Marketing General Manager Director Job Purpose: To manage and expand international sales operations by developing and maintaining strong relationships with overseas customers, coordinating with internal departments for timely order execution, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving companys export targets. Key Responsibilities: 1. International Sales & Marketing Identify and develop new export markets for FIBC bags (U+2 Panel, Circular, Baffle, Conductive, Food Grade, etc.). Handle inquiries from global customers prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals. Maintain regular communication with overseas clients via email, phone, and online meetings. 2. Order Management Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution and dispatch. Prepare Proforma Invoices (PI), Order Confirmations, and coordinate LC/documentation requirements. Track shipment schedules and provide regular updates to customers. Handle post-shipment follow-up for payments and feedback. 3. Documentation & Compliance Coordinate with CHA/freight forwarders for export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO, etc.). Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export documentation norms (LC, Bill of exchange, etc.). Maintain complete export documentation and customer records. 4. Market Intelligence & Strategy Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer demands. Conduct periodic market analysis to identify emerging opportunities. Contribute to sales forecasts and budgeting for export business. 5. Customer Relationship Management Build long-term relationships with key overseas buyers and distributors. Handle customer complaints effectively and ensure corrective actions are taken. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of FIBC products, technical specifications, and applications. Excellent communication and negotiation skills (Verbal and Non Verbal English). Knowledge of export documentation, INCOTERMS, and shipping procedures. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/CRM systems, and email correspondence. Ability to multitask, manage timelines, and coordinate across departments. Analytical mind-set with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Qualification & Experience : Education: B.Tech/MBA in International Business, Marketing, or equivalent. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in export marketing/sales (preferably in FIBC or packaging industry). Additional Advantage: Experience in handling Europe, USA markets.
