Role Overview: As a Siemens Opcenter Discrete Developer / Expert, your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and configure solutions using Siemens Opcenter Discrete MES. You should have a deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and hands-on experience with OPC (OLE for Process Control). Your role will involve integrating MES with shop floor systems and automation layers using OPC UA/DA protocols, leading and supporting multi-plant MES rollouts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing post-deployment support, and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and compliance with manufacturing standards.
