Key Responsibilities The daily duties revolve around the customer journey and sales process: Customer Engagement: Greeting customers promptly and professionally, understanding their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget through active listening and questioning (needs assessment). Product Expertise: Maintaining up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of all vehicles in inventory (new and used), including features, technical specifications, pricing, warranties, and competitor models. Vehicle Presentation & Demonstration: Conducting professional walk-arounds, effectively explaining the features and benefits of selected vehicles, and organizing and leading informative test drives . Sales Process Management: Guiding the customer through the sales cycle, which includes overcoming objections, negotiating sale prices and trade-in values, and collaborating with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to arrange financing or lease options. Documentation & Closing: Ensuring all sales contracts and required paperwork are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations, and facilitating the final closing of the deal. Follow-up & Retention: Maintaining long-term relationships with customers through post-sale follow-up to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and generate referrals. Lead Management: Managing incoming leads (phone, internet, walk-in) and utilizing Customer Relationship Management ( CRM ) software to track interactions and manage follow-up activities. Delivery: Preparing the sold vehicle for delivery, ensuring the customer understands all operating features, warranty details, and paperwork before they drive off. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting potential customers, responding to inquiries, showcasing Kia vehicles and features, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
