You are a creative and fast-paced video editor with the ability to transform raw footage into engaging Reels and impactful short-form corporate content. Your role involves combining storytelling, motion design, and trend awareness to deliver quick turnarounds. Responsibilities include editing short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, creating engaging edits from product videos, incorporating text overlays, motion graphics, music, and sound effects for effective storytelling. You will also utilize AI-powered tools to enhance editing workflows and collaborate with creative and marketing teams to align with visual direction. Staying updated with editing trends, social media styles, and visual hooks is essential. To excel in this role, you should have a strong command of editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, as well as experience in motion graphics using tools like After Effects or CapCut Pro. Familiarity with AI editing tools like Runway ML, Pika Labs, or Descript is required. Understanding social media pacing, hooks, and creating thumb-stopping cuts, along with a talent for creative storytelling through music, pacing, and visual rhythm are essential. You should be able to handle multiple edits per week with fast turnaround times. This is a full-time position with health insurance benefits. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the job requires in-person presence. Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience in video editing and reel editing.
