Watch : What is ShopOS (from the founders’ lens - Click here) About the Role As a Video Editor at ShopOS, you’ll be the visual storyteller behind our brand and the products we’re building. From snappy explainers and launch trailers to creative campaigns for D2C brands, your work will shape how the world experiences our story. You’ll work closely with our Creative Director, designers, product team, and external collaborators to bring ideas to life—visually, emotionally, and at high velocity. This is a role for someone who loves editing with flair, has a sharp design eye, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You’ll Own Edit high-quality videos for product explainers, brand campaigns, social media, and case studies Transform raw footage (live-action or screen recordings) into polished, engaging stories Work cross-functionally with product, design, and marketing teams to craft narratives Add motion graphics, transitions, typography, and effects to elevate storytelling Adapt content formats for various platforms—YouTube, LinkedIn, Reels, etc. Source and manage assets (footage, music, SFX, templates) and maintain consistency Handle multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality Continuously raise the bar for visual storytelling, pacing, and brand tone What We’re Looking For 3–5 years of experience as a video editor in a creative agency, brand, or studio Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating storytelling, editing, and motion design Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve) Basic motion graphics / animation skills Good visual design sense, typography, and timing Experience working with sound, music, and pacing for mood and impact Comfort working in fast-moving teams and shipping multiple iterations quickly High attention to detail and quality Bonus Points Experience working with D2C or eCommerce brands Prior experience editing product-led videos or UI walkthroughs Skills in 2D/3D animation, color grading, or cinematography Understanding of visual storytelling for performance marketing Familiarity with AI editing tools (Runway, Pika, Descript, etc.) Background in scriptwriting or directing is a plus What You’ll Be Editing Product demos and launch videos AI-generated content showcases Brand narratives and vision explainers Case studies with partner brands Social-first content, Reels, and teasers Internal design sprints and process recaps Our Values Extreme ownership and bias for action Honest, high-velocity communication Respect for craft and obsession with users Fast, scrappy iteration over perfection Low ego, high empathy, radical candor What We Offer Competitive salary Health & wellness benefits Direct mentorship from founders and creative leads Freedom to experiment, iterate, and ship bold creative work High-autonomy, low-bureaucracy culture Location We're hiring in Bangalore (HSR Layout) 💡 Why Join Us? Watch : What is ShopOS (from the founders’ lens - Click here) About the Role As an HR Operations Manager at ShopOS , you will lead and scale the people operations function—driving strategic HR initiatives, optimizing systems, and ensuring smooth operational excellence across the employee lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership to design scalable frameworks for recruitment, performance, engagement, and compliance, ensuring we build a high-performing, people-first organization. This role demands strategic thinking, operational depth, and a strong ability to influence at scale. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, payroll, and compliance. Develop, refine, and implement HR policies, systems, and frameworks to support scaling teams. Partner with founders and leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy. Oversee HRIS, payroll systems, and data integrity across employee records and compliance documentation. Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and employee satisfaction. Build and lead the HR operations team to deliver excellence in execution and employee experience. Establish performance management frameworks, feedback loops, and growth pathways for teams. Own performance tracking, appraisal cycles, and handle performance-related cases with discretion and fairness. Champion company culture through employee engagement, wellness programs, and DEI initiatives. Ensure compliance with all local employment laws, labour regulations, and HR best practices. Act as a trusted advisor and coach to managers on people-related matters, employee relations, and leadership growth. Manage team and stakeholder relationships across departments to ensure alignment and smooth operations. Basic Qualifications 7–10 years of experience in HR operations, people management, or similar roles in fast-paced organizations. Strong track record in managing HR processes, including recruitment, payroll, compliance, and HRIS systems. Excellent knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR governance. Experience leading HR functions and building scalable systems for growing teams. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a start-up environment. Strong analytical mindset and data-driven approach to HR decision-making. Bonus Points Experience scaling HR operations in high-growth tech start-ups. 0–1 experience in B2B or SaaS organizations. Certifications in HR, labour law, or leadership (SHRM, CIPD, etc.). Expertise with tools like Keka, Darwinbox, Freshteam, or equivalent HR software. Prior experience working with founders or CXOs on organizational design and growth. Strong employer branding and internal communication storytelling skills.
