As a Shopify Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform according to client specifications outlined in the project scope. You will be tasked with providing technical solutions to meet the needs of our customers. Your key deliverables will include generating custom-tailored Shopify themes, modifying existing templates, and migrating websites from other e-commerce platforms to Shopify. It will be essential to write well-structured and reusable code, ensuring that client requirements are met within the designated time frame. Troubleshooting and testing will also be part of your responsibilities to enhance website performance. You should have a good understanding of various Shopify extensions and be able to identify and implement appropriate ones based on client needs. Your expertise should extend to working with medium to advanced levels of customization to fulfill unique client requirements. Leveraging Shopify's default features to create user-friendly and engaging websites will be crucial. Collaboration with UI/UX designers to develop robust and innovative front-end interfaces that align with Shopify standards will be expected from you. Additionally, you should be well-versed in Shopify marketing tools, API integration, and Shopify Apps. Implementing optimization strategies for website conversion rates will also be part of your duties. Desired skills for this role include proficiency in the Shopify admin system, HTML5, CSS3, and PHP. Knowledge of other popular e-commerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, Presta Shop, and Open Cart will be beneficial. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team.
