This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining components of a modern, browser-based SaaS platform. The right candidate will have strong backend development skills in Java and a working knowledge of modern API, data, and monitoring tools. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement full-stack features for our SaaS web platform using Java and modern technologies. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for integrating with backend services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business functions including data processing, decisioning, and AI-driven workflows. Use tools such as Postman for testing APIs and Splunk for monitoring/log analysis. Manage and query large datasets using MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases. Ensure performance, scalability, and security standards are met. Follow best practices in coding, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes. Contribute to a high-performing agile team through collaboration and technical excellence. Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of full-stack development experience with strong backend expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. Working knowledge of React or Angular for frontend development. Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs. Proficient in using Postman for API testing and debugging. Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Splunk or other logging/monitoring tools. Prior experience with SaaS-based, browser-accessible applications. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Background in financial services or banking domain. Experience working with AI/ML-powered platforms or decisioning systems. Exposure to cloud platforms, especially AWS.
