SEZ Officer

As an SEZ Officer based in Chennai with 5-10 years of experience, you will be responsible for the following: - Being conversant with SEZ Compliances, including Rules & Regulations. - Coordinating Service Tax / Sales Tax related activities and SEZ online filing and assessment, such as Bill of Entry (B.O.E), Shipping Bills, ARE - 1, Job Work, etc. - Handling Import / Export Documentation and having knowledge of documentation and tariff, including Duty structure confirmation and finding exemption notifications for items. - Establishing excellent rapport with custom house agents to obtain necessary support and managing Customs House Agent and C&F Agencies for cargo clearance. - Handling documentation for Bonding and De-bonding processes. - Preparing monthly/ quarterly / annual unit transaction reports (QPR & APR) and submitting them to MEPZ and Zone AO. - Obtaining necessary approvals like sub-contractor permission from MEPZ and AO. - Managing local procurement through ARE 1, Zone to Zone transactions, and bill of export. Qualifications Required: - Experience in SEZ Online Portal operations. - Industry-specific experience. - Familiarity with the ARE-1 Form. - Ability to join immediately.,
